Concept: Adventure across a forgotten Rumrunners Isle and discover new varieties of rum to fuel your piracy but beware, Ghost Captain Haze protects his cache!
Content: Five distinct areas to adventure through with Rollable Tables to generate content within each as well as a Table to generate new and interesting styles of Rum to wet your Piratical taste buds. Maps by Dyson Logos of the Rum Runners Cache as well.
Writing: As always, Mr. Gibbs provides an engaging and genuinely well written Adventure. All aspects are clearly explained and done so in a way the conveys the intent while allowing for maximum interpretation by the HM.
Art/design: Layout on this product is excellent, backgrounds are extremely well done and work beautifully with the product. Every table is highly legible and colour choices are an example to be followed as is the Art placement throughout the product with a Mix of Stock Art and Mr. Gibbs own.
Usability: Curse of the Rumrunners is an excellent interlude adventure for you to drop in between getting your Players from one major location to another. It hits the sweet spot when you need just a short adventure to tide you over. One could easily place a Key Item in the Cache to send the Crew on to their next major Adventure and you come away with a much more fun system for spirits to imbibe.
